Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the North of England & Scotland, living on the M62 corridor. You will manage existing accounts and generate new business for packaging machinery and consumables from a home base.

The role offers a base salary around £50,000 with an achievable OTE of ~£75,000, plus a company car option, 8% pension and private healthcare. Commutable locations include Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Hull, Newcastle, Huddersfield.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in field sales and sales management with experience selling capital equipment or technical solutions to manufacturers.
• Experience selling to component manufacturers; knowledge of the E-commerce market is a plus.
• Willing and able to generate new business.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established territory with a 50/50 split of account management and new business.
• Sell packaging machinery and flexible packaging consumables to manufacturers, ecommerce, contract packers & distributors.
• Provide full technical support and service backup; full product training will be provided.
