Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the North of England and Scotland from a home base along the M62 corridor. You will manage existing accounts and generate new business for a leading packaging machinery manufacturer, with full product training provided.

The role offers an OTE around £75k, a base salary circa £50k, a choice of company car, and pension/private healthcare benefits, with home-based flexibility and frequent travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in field sales and sales management.
• Experience selling capital equipment or technical solutions to manufacturing.
• Willing to generate new business and engage with component manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Sell packaging machinery and consumables to manufacturers and the E-commerce market.
• Manage territory across North of England & Scotland, covering the M62 corridor.
• Provide full technical support and service backup to customers.
• Attend training and develop product knowledge to support customers.
