A leading company in the foodservice sector is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales and manage client accounts in the HORECA industry. Candidate Location: Aberdeen/Dundee
Salary: £35,000 OTE £20k plus £650pcm car allowance

THE ROLE: As an Area Sales Manager, your role will be responsible for a mixture of generating new business and managing an existing account base whereby you will continually look to grow these accounts wherever possible through networking and regular calls ins. Half of your time will be to find new customers, selling the whole foodservice offering into the HORECA sector, i.e. pubs, clubs, leisure, schools, hotels and nursing homes you will be dealing directly with the Head Chefs, Catering Managers and Owners within these businesses. This company will be known as a one stop shop to all your clients so as the Area Sales Manager you will have a large range of products to work with. Key pillars will be wines, meats, fresh, frozen, chilled, ambient, dairy, baked goods as well as cleaning chemicals, consumables and catering equipment.

FOR THIS POSITION, WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
·Successful track record in field sales from ideally a food or drink background
·Ex chefs with some field sales experience would be very welcome
·You are welcome to apply if you have sold into the hospitality industry but from a non food perspective such as waste, hygiene, pest control, cleaning services, catering equipment, catering supplies, chemicals etc.
·Those with a recruitment background have been very successful and are welcome to apply
·You must have a passion for food and cooking
·You must have a driving licence
·You must be organised, passionate, target driven personality will see you succeed in this position.
·Full product training will be provided for the successful candidate.
THE PACKAGE:
·Basic: £30-35,000 (depending on experience)
·Commission: £20k
·Car Allowance: £650pcm
