Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager for exterior street lighting, covering the North West and West Midlands. You will sell a manufactured range of exterior lighting products to highways contractors, local authorities, and developers, building specifications on projects.

The role demands substantial field time with an annual first-year target around £650,000, rising to £1m+ by year three, plus travel to distributors and site-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical field sales experience.
• Experience selling to highways contractors or local authorities.
• Experience with exterior lighting or street lighting is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of exterior lighting products.
• Break specifications with highways contractors, local authorities and developers.
• Develop new business with targets and manage project leads.
• Circa 3 days on the road, 1–2 days with distributors and wholesalers.
