Area Sales Engineer - CNC Cutting Tools

Compensation: Superb basic salary + bonus + quality car, pension + healthcare

Location: Covering North East down to Yorkshire, ideally based in the North East

This prominent, longstanding, successful organization is one of the major players in the production of a superb range of tools for metalwork including turning, grooving, and milling. They supply tools and tooling solutions throughout Europe and, in order to further strengthen their team, they require a talented Area Sales Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Promote a range of high-quality cutting products and solutions to the Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace sectors.
2. Manage existing accounts and develop new business selling directly and via customers within a distribution network.
3. Work from home and report to the Regional Manager.

Qualifications:

1. Successful career selling metal cutting tools.
2. Comfortable reading Engineering drawings.
3. Mechanical Engineering qualification or technical apprenticeship.
4. Experience in CNC machining or programming machines is a plus.
5. Experience selling similar products into the Manufacturing, Automotive, or Aerospace sectors.

You should be a disciplined, target-driven individual, capable of working on your own initiative. Excellent communication and negotiation skills combined with a winning mentality are essential.
