Developing power sector business on a remote #WFH basis for an innovative engineering technology company known for solving complex problems for blue-chip clients in renewable energy, security, medical, transportation, aerospace, and defense industries.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Identify new customers and target markets for the power product range.
  • Develop business leads with new and existing customers.
  • Understand power products, their applications, and potential markets.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and business plans with management.
  • Attend regular meetings to discuss sales progress.
  • Present product benefits to customers, including specifications, quality, price, and logistics.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to meet customer and company expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date sales and product information in company systems.
  • Provide sales reports and feedback to management.
  • Participate in training to stay current with product knowledge.
  • Manage administrative duties like scheduling, reporting, and database updates.

You will have

A mix of the following qualifications and skills:

  • Business, Engineering, or Electronics Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of power products and applications.
  • Experience with sales techniques, preferably in field sales.
  • 2-3 years experience in electronics circuit/system design (preferred).
  • Strong numeracy and commercial skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Professional appearance and ability to travel weekly within the territory.

You will get

A competitive salary of £50K-£60K+ bonus and package, including performance bonus, pension, life assurance, income protection, laptop, mobile, and company car.
