Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking an Area Operations Manager to lead Team Leaders across a designated area and deliver robust workforce strategies for A&E services. The role involves tactical command during on-call periods and close collaboration with the leadership team to meet performance targets.

You will develop policies, oversee staff welfare, and ensure incidents are reported and lessons learned are applied to improve service delivery across the South Yorkshire CBU.

Qualifications

• NHS and A&E Operations experience is essential.
• Experience leading Team Leaders in response-led services.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and line management to Team Leaders within a specified area.
• Develop and implement robust workforce strategies for A&E services.
• Undertake Tactical Command role as part of the Trust's on-call rota.
• Prepare and submit concise management information to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure incidents are reported and lessons learned in line with policy and procedures.
