Job summary

Amazon Southampton is seeking an Area/Shift Manager to lead a large, diverse team and ensure the site keeps pace with demand. You will drive safety, productivity, and continuous improvement while coordinating with colleagues across shifts and teams.

Your days involve managing routine team tasks, performance analysis, and implementing process improvements to meet customer service targets, with frequent collaboration with other managers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree before the start date or graduated within the last 24 months.
• Experience with data analysis.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
• Analyse and implement corrective actions to make sure quality and productivity are at consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all shifts
• Support and lead a team and handle administrative work alongside building and supporting a strong team culture
• Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service
• Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes
