Job summary

Amazon Logistics is seeking an Area Manager to lead a site, uphold safety, quality and productivity across shifts, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll mentor managers, deliver results, and role-model operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll analyse performance, coordinate with cross-functional teams, implement process improvements, and ensure on-time, accurate fulfilment for customers while maintaining high standards and a safe working culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree.
• Experience in people management.
• Experience communicating clearly with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience using data to make business decisions and manage training efforts.
• Business English skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing.
• Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level.
• Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility.
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence.
• Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices.
