Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking an Area Manager to lead and motivate the operational team at Erith, maintaining top health and safety standards and driving KPI performance. You will manage shifts in a 24/7 environment, support other sites occasionally, and ensure effective communication across multi-site operations.

The role requires strong leadership, data interpretation skills, and experience in warehouse settings, with flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience and knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills with data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support your operational team to maintain exceptional health and safety standards.
• Manage daily operations, deliver pre-shift briefings, and report on KPI metrics.
• Undertake tiered management/personal shopper tasks and support other sites as needed.
