Mitchell Maguire Limited seeks an Area Engineer Geotechnical Sales Engineer for Geotextiles & Geosynthetics Products to cover the South region of the UK. You will focus on selling into specifiers, engineering consultants, and engineers, delivering a technically strong, specification-led sales approach.

The role requires a geotechnical background with commercial acumen, excellent communication, and the ability to handle large projects.

Qualifications

• Geotechnical engineering background with sales interest.
• Experience with geotextiles/geosynthetics or civil infrastructure.
• Strong communication with specifiers and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Promote high quality geotextile and geosynthetics products to specifiers and engineers.
• Sell to and generate specifications with specifiers, engineering consultants, and engineers.
• Prepare preliminary design concepts, technical proposals and front-end solutions.
• Manage area Birmingham and surrounding region / South area.

The role of Geotechnical Sales Engineer Geotextiles & Geosynthetics Products will involve:

• Area Specification & Sales Manager position promoting a high quality technical range of geotextile & geosynthetics products
• All of your time will be spent selling to and generating specifications with specifiers, engineering consultants and engineers
• Preparing preliminary design concepts, technical proposals, and front-end engineering solutions
• Turnover target tbc
• Dealing with large project sizes
• Focusing on an area of Birmingham down

The ideal applicant will be Geotechnical Sales Engineer Geotextiles & Geosynthetics Products with:

• Must be a Geotechnical Engineer looking to get into a hybrid technical & commercial sales role
• Must have experience in the geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, infrastructure construction or related industry
• Ideally chartership such as; CEng / CGeol
• Ideally experience dealing with specifiers, consultants, contractors and councils
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Highly organised, motivated and driven
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality
