Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Area Engineer for Geotechnical Products, focusing on geotextiles and geosynthetics. You will promote a high quality technical range to specifiers and engineers across a southern area of the UK.

The ideal candidate will be a geotechnical engineer moving into a hybrid technical and commercial sales role, with experience in geotechnical or civil engineering industries. Chartered status is preferred and IT skills with MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Geotechnical Engineer looking to move into a hybrid technical & commercial sales role.
• Experience in geotechnical or civil engineering or infrastructure construction.
• Ideally chartered (e.g., CEng / CGeol).

Responsibilities

• Promote a high quality technical range of geotextile & geosynthetics products to specifiers and engineers.
• Spend time selling to and generating specifications with specifiers, engineering consultants and engineers.
• Prepare preliminary design concepts, technical proposals, and front-end engineering solutions.
• Manage turnover targets and deal with large project sizes.
