Job summary

The Lanes Group is seeking a results-driven Area Development Manager in Leeds to drive new business and strengthen existing client relationships across regional accounts. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work across depot teams to achieve sales targets.

Ideal candidates have robust B2B sales experience in drainage or related sectors, a proactive work ethic, and a track record of growing regional and national accounts. Uncapped earning potential and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Business to business (B2B) sales experience essential.
• Experience in drainage, waste management or construction industries preferred.
• Proactive, self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to develop and manage relationships with national accounts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source new regional business opportunities.
• Develop and grow business with national accounts.
• Attend site visits and quote works promptly.
• Proactively follow up on quotations to secure orders.
• Maintain relationships and anticipate future client needs.
• Manage diary and administrative tasks; forecast sales targets.
• Collaborate with depot managers to hit regional targets.

About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Sales Professional with drive and ambition to be appointed into the role of Area Development Manager for one of our well established UK Drainage Depots. This role is reporting to the Regional Sales manager to develop new business opportunities and maintain as well develop existing relationships.

Leeds

Hours:

Monday to Friday - 37.5 Hours per week.

Salary :

depending on previous experience + uncapped earning potential (OTE 75k)

Responsibilities – but not limited to:

• Targeting and sourcing new business across the region
• Working with National accounts to develop and grow business
• Attending site visits to evaluate work requested
• Quoting for works quickly in accordance with costings
• Proactively following up on quotations to secure business
• Upselling to existing clients, maintaining relationships and understand future needs to secure business
• Managing your own diary, administration
• Working closely with depot manager to achieve sales targets and forecasting
• Travelling to various locations and regional training events & meetings
• Attending sales events, networking events
• Proactively selling the services through advertising campaigns and linkedin etc

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

• Business to Business Sales experience essential
• Service industry sales experience - ideally with drainage/waste management or construction related industry or multi utility essential
• Excellent work ethic who can go above and beyond to ensure the best service is delivered
• Desire to succeed in a niche but highly rewarding market
