Role Overview

Due to company growth, we are looking to appoint a Drainage Assistant to join our Manchester Depot.

Working as part of a two‑person team, you will be responsible for attending drainage‑related issues such as blockages, pipe clearing, cleansing and reactive call‑outs.

Details

Location: Eccles, Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Salary: £13.50 per hour

About You

Applicants should ideally have experience in the above ideally from a utility or similar background.

You must hold a valid driving licence.

Lanes Group will provide all training required for the role such as high‑pressure water jetting, confined space, spill response, etc.

You can become a successful Utilities Waste‑Water Technician if you have problem‑solving, listening, critical thinking, team‑working abilities and a customer‑focused approach. As you need to operate machinery, excellent hand‑eye coordination and concentration are essential skills.
