Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is seeking an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations for 30–35 retail sites across a mobile region. You will lead KPI delivery, rotate staff, and manage budgets while ensuring health & safety standards are met.

The role requires full driving licence, strong IT skills, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a demanding client. Company car is provided with a fuel card.

Qualifications

• Multi-site cleaning management experience.
• Full driving licence.
• Proficient IT skills: Excel, Word and Email.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning operations for 30–35 sites on a mobile basis.
• Ensure KPIs and weekly checks are delivered to defined standards and take corrective action as required.
• Recruit and train Cleaning staff in the Area per recruitment process.
• Manage area and site costs within budget; ensure Health & Safety compliance.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular contact.
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits.
• Handle HR issues as needed.

Position: Area Cleaning Manager

Salary: £37,500.00 per annum + Bonus up to £2,000.00 (KPI Dependant)

Included: Company car & Fuel Card

Location: Covering sites across South Yorkshire/ Lincolnshire

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Friday | Generally working between the hours of 7.00am - 4.00pm

Our client are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning Manager to be responsible for cleaning operations of circa 30-35 retail sites.

Job Purpose

• The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the management of cleaning in the provision of cleaning circa 30-35 sites on a mobile basis.
• The Area Cleaning Manager will ensure that KPI's and Weekly Checks are delivered to defined standards and corrective action is taken as required.
• To recruit and effectively train all Cleaning staff in the Area to ensure that other colleagues are recruited and trained in line with the recruitment process.
• To manage the area and site costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
• Develop / maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits
• Manage any HR issues

The role is full time, permanent and 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, predominantly working Monday to Friday, with weekends off.
