Caterlink Ltd is seeking an experienced Area Chef Manager to oversee catering operations for a group of schools within the BEBCMAT Trust. The role is 40 weeks, Monday to Friday, term-time plus two days, with a focus on developing teams and building strong client relationships across your portfolio.

Successful candidates will bring extensive catering and operational management experience, be commercially aware, and prepared to roll up sleeves to lead by example.

Qualifications

• Previous catering and operational management experience is essential.
• 40-week term-time role; Monday to Friday (plus 2 in-set days).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee catering operations across multiple schools within the BEBCMAT Trust.
• Manage a team of site-based staff, ensuring service quality and financial performance.
• Build strong client relationships and drive continuous improvement across your portfolio of schools.
• Adhere to Health & Safety standards and drive key KPIs such as retention and quality.
