Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Part II qualified architect or architectural technologist to join our Birmingham office. You will deliver drawings and design statements across UK residential and mixed-use schemes, liaising with clients and consultants and contributing to planning and tender packages.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, developing client relationships and maintaining high design quality, with a hybrid setup from Birmingham, Bristol or London offices.

Qualifications

Completed Part II Architecture or Architectural Technology qualification.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion and Adobe Suite.
Experience in a similar role working on UK-based residential and mixed-use schemes.
Design approach rooted in good site and context analysis.
Excellent design and presentation skills.
Enthusiastic and reliable with excellent timekeeping and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Produce drawings and Design and Access Statements for planning applications
Produce technical information for tender packages
Contribute to project meetings with clients and other consultants
Contribute to presentations for client teams, pre-application meetings and other stakeholders
Liaise with clients and other consultants
Ensure drawings comply with statutory regulations and relevant local design standards
Work collaboratively with colleagues in a multidisciplinary consultancy
Develop client relationships and begin developing an independent workload

Requirements
