Job summary

Manpower is recruiting a Senior Architectural Technician in Reading for a major national infrastructure programme. You will help develop building and services designs from concept to detailed design within a regulated environment.

You should hold ARB/RIBA Part II, have at least 2 years post-graduate experience, and be progressing toward Part III; strong Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe skills are needed. You will work with engineers, project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ARB/RIBA Part II qualification
• 2 years' post-graduate experience in architectural practice or consultancy
• Progression towards ARB/RIBA Part III professional registration
• Experience working on concept design and feasibility projects
• Experience within regulated sectors advantageous

As part of a multidisciplinary design team, you will play a key role in the delivery of building and services designs for a critical national infrastructure programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant who is progressing towards professional registration and is keen to develop their technical, design and project delivery expertise in a highly regulated environment.

The Role

Working within the project's design function, you will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of architectural solutions from concept through to detailed design. You'll be trusted to work independently on complex design tasks, contribute to work package delivery and collaborate closely with engineers, project managers and key stakeholders across the programme.

About You

• ARB/RIBA Part II qualification
• Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience within an architectural practice or consultancy environment

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience within regulated sectors would be advantageous
