Job summary

Russell Taylor is seeking an Architectural Technologist in Wrexham to work on a varied portfolio across education, healthcare, commercial and heritage projects. The role offers development of technical and design skills within an established practice.

You could be a recent graduate or a more experienced Technologist; the team values strong technical detailing, project delivery, and the ability to run projects.

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Good understanding of architectural construction and technical detailing.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural and technical information from concept through to construction.
• Produce detailed drawings and documentation using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Develop design proposals and resolve technical details.
• Work collaboratively with architects, designers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other project team members as appropriate.
• Support planning and building regulations submissions.
• Contribute to projects through technical design and construction stages.
