Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Architectural Technologist in Kettering to join a UK practice delivering multidisciplinary projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and leisure sectors. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with the project team to progress from inception to completion.

The role requires a relevant Architectural Technology degree, active or progressing CIAT membership, and strong Revit skills with a solid understanding of UK building regulations.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Architectural Technology and working towards or holding CIAT membership.
• Proficient with Revit and strong knowledge of UK building regulations.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects across sectors within a UK practice.

Responsibilities

• Work with project team to deliver large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare design risk assessments and detailed design information.
• Produce documents for statutory approval authorities and manage certifications.

They are looking for a talented and experienced Architectural Technologist to join their Kettering studio.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Work alongside the project team and deliver large-scale projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare design stake risk assessments and detailed design information
• Produce documents for statutory approval authorities
• Administer contract and project certifications

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Relevant degree within Architectural Technology
• Working towards or has achieved CIAT membership
• Strong post qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
• Proficient with Revit
• Managed large-scale projects across various sectors
• Excellent working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Excellent technical detailing and presentation skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Kettering area
• Full UK Driver's license
