Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is recruiting an Architectural Technologist for a forward-thinking RIBA Chartered practice in Tunbridge Wells. You will lead education and healthcare projects from inception to completion, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Architectural Technology, is CIAT chartered or working toward chartership, and is proficient in AutoCAD and Revit with solid UK building regulations knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree within Architectural Technology
• CIAT chartered or working toward CIAT chartership
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong post qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Experience working on projects within the commercial, education, or healthcare sector
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver education and healthcare projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare and submit building regulation and planning applications
• Carry out site visits to ensure technical compliance is achieved
• Prepare planning, technical and construction drawings
