Cotswold Archaeology in Kemble is seeking a Project Supervisor to lead fieldwork projects, manage archaeologists and trainees, and ensure high-quality recording and timely delivery within budget and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of archaeological practice across Britain’s periods.
• Experience supervising small to medium fieldwork projects.
• Ability to author fieldwork reports efficiently and accurately.
• Good communication with sponsors, clients, and CA staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fieldwork projects on time, to budget, and with safety compliance.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to Archaeologists and Trainees.
• Author fieldwork reports in a timely, accurate manner.
• Monitor project progress and liaise with clients and Local Government officers.
