Qualifications

• Recognised teaching and assessing qualifications (or willingness to work towards)
• Substantial experience of teaching and delivering post‑16 learning, including apprenticeships and vocational or work‑based programmes
• Proven ability to achieve positive learner outcomes, including recruitment, retention, achievement and progression
• Experience of managing or supporting staff, including performance management, observation of teaching and learning, and coaching or mentoring
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and improvement processes, funding requirements and awarding body standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employers, partners, staff and learners
• Strong ICT and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage resources effectively

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and line‑manage delivery staff to ensure high‑quality teaching, assessment and learner support
• Contribute to curriculum design and development across apprenticeships and work‑based learning
• Support quality assurance, funding compliance and progression pathways for learners
• Coordinate resources and delivery across multiple locations with flexible and hybrid working options
