Job summary

Leicestershire County Council seeks a Learning Development and Delivery Co-ordinator to shape and deliver a high-quality curriculum focused on apprenticeships and work-based learning. You will lead delivery staff, coach and develop performance, and ensure quality across programmes.

Working with other coordinators, you will drive improvements, support learner progression and ensure compliance with funding and awarding requirements while coordinating resources across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching and assessing qualifications (or willingness to work towards), or equivalent professional experience in adult learning.
• Substantial experience of teaching and delivering post-16 learning, including apprenticeships and vocational or work-based programmes.
• Proven ability to achieve positive learner outcomes, including recruitment, retention, achievement and progression.
• Experience of managing or supporting staff, including performance management, observation of teaching and learning, and coaching or mentoring.
• Strong ICT and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage resources effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employers, partners, staff and learners.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver a high-quality curriculum with a focus on apprenticeships and work-based learning.
• Provide line management, coaching and development opportunities to delivery staff.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement to meet funding and awarding requirements.
• Coordinate resources and learning delivery across multiple locations and ensure flexible, responsive learning.
