Job summary

Warwick College Group is seeking an Apprenticeship Programme Officer (Maternity Cover) to deliver high-quality support and guidance to apprentices and employers throughout the apprenticeship journey. You will manage a caseload and act as a main point of contact, ensuring engagement, progression and compliance with funding rules.

The role focuses on coordinating progression, onboarding, and quality assurance, with emphasis on safeguarding and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject area (e.g. education, business, or vocational field).
• GCSE Grade A-C in English and Maths or equivalent; willingness to achieve within the first 9 months.
• Knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules, Ofsted expectations and health & safety in apprenticeship delivery.

Responsibilities

• Apprentice Progress & Quality: monitor learner progress and ensure timely progression.
• Recruitment & Onboarding: support recruitment and onboarding of apprentices.
• Employer Engagement: liaise with employers to promote engagement and placement.
• Compliance & Funding Requirements: ensure funding rules and regulatory compliance.
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: contribute to standards and improvements.
• Health, Safety & Safeguarding: uphold safety and safeguarding policies.
• General Duties: carry out day-to-day tasks as required.
• Key Performance Indicators: meet set KPIs for performance and quality.
