Job summary

Chichester College Group is seeking an Apprenticeship Coach to provide pastoral guidance and tailored programme support, empowering apprentices to overcome challenges and progress through their apprenticeship journey. You will manage a caseload, motivate learners to achieve their qualifications, and work with teachers, assessors, employers and managers to address concerns and support student success.

  • Understanding of the study needs and options and progression opportunities for post 16 learners.

Join our Apprenticeship Team and play a pivotal role in helping apprentices achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity to provide both pastoral guidance and tailored programme support, empowering apprentices to overcome challenges, develop professionally, and successfully progress through their apprenticeship journey.

As our Apprenticeship Coach you will:
  • To motivate each individual learner within a caseload and to monitor and support their progress against their learning goals.
  • To identify apprentices needs and facilitate access to appropriate services to support achievement, such as additional support, careers advice and the enrichment programme.
  • To liaise with all involved in a student’s chosen programme of study (including teachers, assessors, course leaders and Teaching and Learning Managers) to address any concerns and support student success. Where appropriate support employers through activity.

What you will bring to the role:
