Hugh Baird College is a respected education provider located in Bootle. We seek a highly organised Business Development Coordinator to join our Business Engagement team at the Port Academy Building, handling inbound leads, enrolments and compliant apprenticeship documentation.

You will work closely with employers, learners and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and strong partnership development. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits are essential, with

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules, the DAS, and regional employer grants.
• Proven experience in a business development or employer engagement role.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employer and learner enquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• Coordinate enrolments, inductions, and eligibility checks.
• Maintain accurate records to support ESFA and audit requirements.
• Promote apprenticeship and skills programmes to new and existing employers.
• Support employer engagement events and marketing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless learner onboarding.
