Job summary

Hugh Baird College in Bootle is seeking a proactive Recruitment & Resourcing Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. You will coordinate recruitment campaigns from vacancy approval through to onboarding, ensuring a professional and positive candidate experience while upholding high compliance standards.

You'll work closely with hiring managers across the college, manage candidate communications and recruitment administration, and support safer recruitment activities and pre-employment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment, HR or busy coordination roles.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience using HR or recruitment databases or systems.
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Commitment to delivering an excellent customer and candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating recruitment campaigns from vacancy approval through to onboarding.
• Managing candidate communications, interview arrangements and recruitment administration.
• Supporting managers throughout the recruitment process and providing guidance on procedures.
• Advertising vacancies across recruitment channels.
• Maintaining accurate recruitment records and compliance documentation.
• Managing and updating the College's Applicant Tracking System.
• Supporting safer recruitment activities, pre-employment checks and onboarding processes.
• Producing recruitment reports and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Raising and tracking recruitment-related purchase orders and expenditure.
• Helping to promote Hugh Baird College as an employer of choice.
