Job summary

Lithia UK is offering a Vehicle Technician Apprentice position that blends hands-on dealer work with structured training. You will work toward an IMI Level 3 qualification and receive mentoring to become a fully qualified Vehicle Technician.

No prior automotive experience is required, and you will attend the Daventry Training Academy 12 times over the 3-year programme. Daily duties include servicing vehicles, diagnosing and repairing components, performing checks, and maintaining service

Qualifications

• No prior automotive experience required; apprenticeship starts with training.
• Achieve IMI Level 3 Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance during the programme.
• Attend Training Academy sessions in Daventry as part of the 3‑year programme.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles following clear instructions.
• Diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections and maintain records.
