Group 1 Automotive is recruiting an Apprentice Vehicle Technician for Audi Tetbury. You will learn by earning, gaining qualifications while working with a friendly team in a busy dealership environment.

From day one you’ll service vehicles, identify faults, and liaise with Service Advisors to plan repairs. You’ll log maintenance records and uphold customer-focused standards, with strong training support and career progression.

Qualifications

• Punctual and reliable with good timekeeping.
• Capable of working well under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science.

Responsibilities

• Servicing vehicles according to brand guidelines.
• Identifying, repairing and replacing faulty components.
• Liaising with Service Advisors about required repairs.
• Maintaining repair and service records.
• Keeping the work bay tidy and safe.
• Focusing on customer impact in all activities.
• Meeting apprenticeship academic requirements with provider.

What you’ll do day to day

• Servicing our vehicles – you’ll be carrying out checks and maintenance in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Identifying, repairing and replacing components and parts that are faults.
• Liaising with our Service Advisors about required repairs or vehicle work.
• Maintaining repair and service records.
• Learn and demonstrate work bay and surrounding area tidiness.
• To always consider the customer impact on any activity with the vehicle, demonstrating our customer-centric approach.
• To satisfy the academic requirements of the apprenticeship – engage with our provider and ensure course progress.
