Group 1 Automotive is offering an Apprentice Commercial Vehicle Technician apprenticeship at Volkswagen Colchester. You will learn to service and maintain vehicles, identify faults, and work with our service team to complete repairs.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining vehicles according to brand guidelines.

• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Demonstrate tidy work bays and areas.
• Consider customer impact in all vehicle activities.
• Meet the academic requirements of the apprenticeship and progress with our provider.

What you'll do day to day

• Servicing our vehicles - you'll be carrying out checks and maintenance in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Identifying, repairing and replacing components and parts that are faults.
• Liaising with our Service Advisors about required repairs or vehicle work.
• Maintaining repair and service records.
• Learn and demonstrate work bay and surrounding area tidiness.
• To always consider the customer impact on any activity with the vehicle, demonstrating our customer-centric approach.
• To satisfy the academic requirements of the apprenticeship - engage with our provider and ensure course progress.
