Job summary

Group 1 Automotive in Liverpool is seeking an Apprentice Vehicle Technician to train on servicing vehicles, identify faults and learn with a structured apprenticeship. You’ll work under supervision, gain brand-specific skills and complete the required qualifications.

Starting salary is apprentice level with paid training, 33 days leave and pension, plus discounts and wellbeing benefits as you progress toward fully qualified technician status.

What you’ll do day to day

• Servicing our vehicles – you’ll be carrying out checks and maintenance in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Identifying, repairing and replacing components and parts that are faults.
• Liaising with our Service Advisors about required repairs or vehicle work.
• Maintaining repair and service records.
• Learn and demonstrate work bay and surrounding area tidiness.
• To always consider the customer impact on any activity with the vehicle, demonstrating our customer‑centric approach.
• To satisfy the academic requirements of the apprenticeship – engage with our provider and ensure course progress.
