Slough Borough Council is recruiting for a Level 6 Apprenticeship in Trading Standards. The role involves managing a caseload across Trading Standards, with training commencing 30 October 2026 and cross-team collaboration with Licensing and Environmental Health.
The position is based in Slough Observatory House with hybrid working (minimum 2 days in the office). Applicants should be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to start immediately.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated individual with an ability to manage their own case load. The role will include all aspects of Trading Standards work. This role is ideal for someone out of university or recently completed A-Levels. Due to the funding of the position we require someone who can start immediately, as the training course starts 30th October 2026.
The primary purpose is to obtain the level 6 apprenticeship in Trading Standards which covers 2500 pieces of legislation.
As part of the Public Protection team at Slough Borough Council, there are opportunities for cross team working with Licensing and Environmental Health.
