Job summary

Marshall Motor Group is seeking motivated individuals for a Technician Apprenticeship across its network in the East Midlands. You will learn on the job and in training sessions, shadowing experienced Technicians and handling a range of tasks from routine servicing to more complex maintenance.

The program emphasises hands-on skill development, safety standards, and progress through manufacturer accreditation, with a route towards a qualified technician role within Marshall’s extensive network.

Qualifications

• Keen eye for detail and passion for the trade.
• Not afraid to ask questions and eager to learn.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent as required by the Apprenticeship Scheme.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine servicing, inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Keep records of jobs and maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Develop technical skills through hands-on training and manufacturer accreditation programs.

National Apprentice Rate;

• You’ll learn both by doing, and by studying - with a combination of workshop training and class based training, you’ll get everything you need to succeed in becoming a highly effective Technician
• You’ll shadow more skilled Technicians to show you how to conduct a multitude of jobs, including but not limited to routine servicing, Pre Delivery Inspections, simple and complex maintenance work.
• You’ll grow accustomed to maintaining records of all your jobs, as well as keep your work station safe and tidy.

• Someone with a minimum of a Grace C or 4 in English and Maths, due to the Apprenticeship Scheme requirements.
