Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Blackburn is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. You'll work on a range of vehicles, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and manufacturer training to keep you at the top of your game.

Qualifications

• Eager to learn and progress within mechanic careers with manufacturer's accreditation training.
• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic with exposure to warranty and servicing work.
• Strong teamwork, follows processes, and upholds safety and quality standards.
• MOT Licence is a plus; full training can be provided if not yet qualified.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle maintenance tasks from oil changes to cambelt changes with digital write-ups and job cards.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

Job description

• + Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
• + Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• + Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• + Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
