Job summary

Marshall Motor Group is seeking a skilled Service Technician at Marshall Nissan Leicester to join a high-performing aftersales team. The role offers a competitive basic salary and OTE, plus 25 days leave, pension, life assurance and exclusive staff benefits.

The position is full-time (45 hours/week) with weekend rota coverage. You will service and maintain a variety of vehicles, perform diagnostics, and conduct eVHCs while working with manufacturer accreditation training to grow your technical

Qualifications

• Requires Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with warranty and servicing experience.
• MOT Licence is a plus – training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Eager to learn and progress through manufacturer accreditation training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, with digital write-ups and job cards.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.

• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
