Job summary

Farmfoods are recruiting an Apprentice Supervisor for our Erdington shop in Birmingham. This is a permanent full-time role, 35 hours across 5 days weekly, with pay of £13.61 per hour from day one.

You will learn supervisory skills through a structured apprenticeship, including regular assessor visits, coursework, and DBS checks where required. Benefits include 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach.
• Enjoy busy environment; junior management role.
• Reliable, part of a small team.
• Flexible shifts; rota planned three weeks in advance.
• Complete Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland if hired.

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile.
• Help customers find items.
• Give fast, friendly till service and assist with packing.
• Handle stock and deliveries, placing products in freezers and on shelves.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, support the manager.
