Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Supervisor for a newly reopening shop in Porth. The role offers 35 hours per week at £13.61 per hour, with six weeks holiday and a range of staff benefits. Training includes the Retail Skills (Management) Level 3 qualification and regular mentor visits.

Willingness to travel between nearby sites is beneficial. In this 12-month apprenticeship you will learn supervision, customer service, stock handling, and team leadership while progressing toward shop

Qualifications

- Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
- Flexibility with shifts and willingness to travel between sites if needed.
- Completion of a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if hired for the advertised position.

Responsibilities

- Make customers feel welcome with a friendly hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for our customers to buy.
- Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops clean and tidy.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and support your manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to our customers.
