Job summary

Placr Recruitment in Hove is looking for an ambitious Apprentice Recruiter to join our team on a full-time basis. You don’t need recruitment experience—the right attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.

You’ll work with seasoned recruiters learning the entire recruitment journey, from sourcing candidates to helping them secure their next opportunity, supported by a structured 18-month Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths would be helpful.
• You’ll complete an 18-month Level 3 Recruitment Recruiter Apprenticeship with monthly workshops.

Responsibilities

• Search for and approach potential candidates.
• Speak with candidates to understand their skills and goals.
• Write and post engaging job adverts.

Placr Recruitment is growing, and we're looking for an ambitious, confident and brilliantly organised Apprentice Recruiter to join our team in Hove.

You don't need recruitment experience. We're far more interested in your attitude, personality and willingness to learn.

The role

You'll work alongside our experienced recruitment & talent sourcingteam, learning how to manage the entire recruitment journey — from finding brilliant candidates to helping them secure their next opportunity.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Searching for and approaching potential candidates
• Speaking with candidates to understand their skills and career goals
• Writing and posting engaging job adverts
• Reviewing CVs and conducting initial candidate interviews
• Matching candidates with suitable permanent and temporary roles
• Supporting candidates throughout the interview process
• Helping to build strong relationships with clients
• Updating our recruitment system and keeping accurate records
• Supporting the team with business development and marketing activity
• Celebrating every successful placement — we're rather fond of this bit!

About the apprenticeship

You'll complete an 18-month Level 3 Recruitment Recruiter Apprenticeship, with monthly workshops and support throughout your training.

You'll develop practical skills in:

• Candidate sourcing and attraction
• Interviewing and assessing candidates
• Client relationship management
• Sales and business development
• Recruitment law and ethical practice
• Matching and presenting candidates
• Supporting candidates through the recruitment process
• Managing recruitment administration and systems

At the end of the programme, you'll complete an externally assessed presentation, questions and workplace observation.
