Responsibilities

• Prepare floors for installation, including cleaning and levelling subfloors.
• Measure rooms and help calculate materials for each job.
• Install carpets, vinyl flooring and LVT to a high standard.
• Use flooring tools safely and correctly.
• Handle and transport flooring materials carefully.
• Work with experienced floorlayers to complete domestic installations.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Attend apprenticeship training and complete coursework and assessments.

Introduction

As an Apprentice Floorlayer, the successful candidate will work alongside experienced floorlayers, learning how to install a variety of flooring products including carpets, vinyl and luxury vinyl tiles (LVT). No previous experience is needed—just a positive attitude, willingness to learn and pride in doing a good job.

What You'll Do
