Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a production chef apprentice to join a busy kitchen. You’ll work full-time under experienced chefs while training for the Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months, gaining a nationally recognised qualification and contributing to quality meals for guests.

You’ll be supported with mentoring, work-based training, and structured reviews, with opportunities for progression and access to staff discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for learning and teamwork.
• Willing to develop cooking skills in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen and back of house.
• Communicate openly with the team and participate in training and meetings.
