Job summary

Loughview Leisure is hiring an Apprentice Chef to join the team at the Doubletree by Hilton, Kingfisher Country Estate, Templepatrick. You will earn an NVQ Level 2 while gaining hands-on experience in a high-standard kitchen and learning from experienced chefs in a supportive team.

Key focus is mastering culinary techniques, food safety and hygiene, with opportunities to develop in a leading hospitality group across multiple properties in Northern Ireland.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work under pressure and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Prepping and portioning ingredients for service.
• Cooking and presentation of dishes to specification.
• Storing and managing food supplies to ensure safety.
• Keeping kitchen clean and organized, equipment maintained.
• Complying with food safety and health and safety regulations.
• Assisting senior chefs with any reasonable tasks as needed.
