Mitchells & Butlers offers a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship, training in a fast-paced kitchen with mentorship from experienced chefs. The programme runs over 15 months with a full-time kitchen role and a nationally recognised qualification.

You’ll benefit from in-work training, wage progression with age, and opportunities to progress to higher-level apprenticeships within the company.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Apprenticeship delivers a national qualification.
• Functional Skills in English and Maths provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly and safely to brand standards.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with stock rotation, prep and par process.
• Stay updated on promotions and product knowledge.
• Complete required training modules and learning activities.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and policies.
