Job summary

Mission 4 Recruitment on behalf of an established client in Hoddesdon, England, seeks a proactive Appointment Setter to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis. This hands-on, phone-focused role targets decision-makers, conducts outbound outreach, and books high-value meetings for the BDM.

The successful candidate will use CRM, LinkedIn, and AI tools, with training provided and a clear route to a permanent contract, plus uncapped commission and a progression path to BDM.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outbound sales, telesales, or appointment setting.
• Confident phone manner with resilience to objections.
• Strong written skills for email and LinkedIn outreach.
• Organised and driven to hit daily/weekly KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Make 60+ daily outbound calls to fleet operators and transport decision-makers.
• Prospect target companies and engage decision-makers via LinkedIn and email sequences.
• Use AI tools to streamline research, lead qualification, email drafting, and call prep.
• Book and confirm qualified face-to-face and video meetings for the BDM.
• Provide thorough lead handovers to ensure seamless transitions for the sales team.
• Keep the CRM fully updated by logging all daily calls, emails, contacts, and meetings.
• Submit weekly activity reports covering outreach metrics, conversations, and booked meetings.
• Collaborate with the BDM on target sectors, messaging strategies, and pipeline reviews.
