Vertus Partners is hiring an Applied AI Engineer to help its trading technology teams adopt generative AI safely and effectively. The role focuses on practical AI tooling, workflows and architectures across trading, analytics, operations and technology.

You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, configure AI assistants and knowledge bases, and build retrieval-augmented workflows with strong Python and SQL skills.

Formación

• Experience applying AI to analyze, automate or enable business processes.
• Strong Python and SQL; understanding enterprise AI concepts.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices and risk awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Identify suitable generative AI use cases with stakeholders.
• Configure AI assistants, agents, knowledge bases and tool integrations.
• Design system instructions, prompts, templates and guardrails.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation workflows and document intelligence flows.
• Support ingestion, metadata design, information retrieval and data extraction.
• Test AI outputs for accuracy, completeness and grounding in sources.
• Create reusable templates, playbooks and demonstrations.
