Cititec is seeking an AI Analyst to join its Data & AI team in a hybrid role. You will help the business leverage AI across CTRM workflows and automate manual processes.

This hands-on role requires translating business needs into AI solutions, designing prompts and agent logic, and supporting adoption across reporting, forecasting and analysis. A London-hybrid setup offers close collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Energy, Commodities, Trading, Finance, CTRM, Data or related fields.
• Hands-on GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering or workflow automation experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Comfort with structured data and analytics.
• Python/SQL or scripting experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.

AI Analyst | Global Commodity Trading | Permanent | Hybrid

A leading global commodities firm is looking for an AI Analyst to join their Data & AI team, helping their technology and commercial teams make better use of AI across existing E/CTRM workflows and automate manual processes.

This is a hands-on AI workflow and enablement role, working closely with business stakeholders to identify where AI can add value, develop practical solutions and help teams adopt new AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify E/CTRM workflows where AI and automation can improve efficiency, analysis and decision-making
• Translate business requirements into practical AI workflows, agents and automations
• Design and refine prompts, AI context and agent logic
• Support AI use cases across reporting, forecasting, analysis, research and knowledge management
• Test and evaluate AI outputs to ensure they are accurate, reliable and fit for purpose
• Work closely with technology and commercial stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Create documentation and guidance to support the wider adoption of AI

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in Energy, Commodities, Trading, Finance, CTRM, Data, Technology or a similar environment
• Practical experience using GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering or workflow automation
• A good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into practical AI solutions
• Comfortable working with structured data and analytics
• Python, SQL or scripting experience would be beneficial
• Exposure to tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or similar AI platforms
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
