Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd has a client in Leicester seeking an Internal Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer. Based in Enderby, you will be the front-line contact for customers, handling technical enquiries and developing costed, design-led solutions.

You will liaise with Contracts and Engineering teams, produce quotations, and maintain records while building relationships with large OEMs and international customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electrical or technical sales or applications engineering.
• Experience dealing with large OEMs or international customers is desirable.
• Qualified to at least HNC level in electrical/electronic/controls engineering.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face.
• Produce designs and costed solutions to meet requirements.
• Prepare quotations and tenders with clear, accurate details.
• Follow up quotations to secure profitable orders.
• Maintain product knowledge and provide pre-sales technical support.
