Job summary

Sention seeks its first dedicated Applications Engineer to own the technical customer journey from discovery through deployment and adoption. You will collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and cross‑functional teams to deliver deployments, improve processes and documentation, and ensure customers obtain continuing value from Sention’s systems.

You will shadow early customer conversations, then lead increasingly, handling deployments, commissioning and ongoing technical success across

Qualifications

• Around 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechatronic, systems or control engineering or equivalent.
• Experience building, modifying, or commissioning hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution definition with customers.
• Plan and run demonstrations, evaluations and pilots of hardware and software.
• Oversee deployment, commissioning and handover of systems at customer sites.
• Act as primary technical contact for deployed customers and resolve complex issues.
• Develop repeatable applications engineering practices and documentation.
