Job summary

Peaple Talent in Bristol is seeking an Applications Support Technician to deliver advanced support for enterprise business applications and resolve issues with speed and precision.

You will monitor performance, manage incidents and work across document management, CRM, finance, HR and other core systems, ensuring security and reliability in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering advanced application support in an enterprise or professional services setting.
• Experience supporting business-critical apps across DMS, CRM, Finance or HR.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms, incident management and lifecycle support.
• Understanding of Windows Server, SQL Server/T-SQL, AD/Entra ID, Exchange and remote access.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support across enterprise business applications and resolve issues efficiently.

Job Title: Applications Support Technician

Location: Bristol

The Role:

• Provide advanced support across a range of enterprise business applications, investigating and resolving issues efficiently.
• Support systems spanning document management, finance, CRM, HR, legal and other specialist applications.
• Take ownership of application support processes while maintaining high service and information security standards.
• Monitor application performance and availability, identifying and addressing potential issues.

The Candidate:

• Strong experience providing advanced application support within an enterprise or professional services environment.
• Proven experience supporting business-critical applications, ideally across document management, CRM, finance, HR or other line-of-business systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments, including core productivity applications and desktop technologies.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM/service management platforms, alongside incident management, troubleshooting and application lifecycle support.
• Good understanding of Microsoft infrastructure and database technologies, including Windows Server, SQL Server/T-SQL, Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange and remote access technologies.
