Job summary

Wates Group in Leeds is seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join the Construction Group Applications team, providing support for platforms across the business, with emphasis on Construction and Engineering apps.

You will have solid system/process experience, ideally with Autodesk, Asta PowerProject and Salesforce, plus MS Office, SharePoint, ITIL knowledge, and power automate for workflow automation. Hybrid role, Leeds-based two days/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT application support including incident and change management.
• Primary point of contact for admin support to business end users.
• Manage IT application upgrade projects with internal and external parties.
• Coordinate IT application updates and maintain support records.
• Analyse business-driven change requests and assess impact, effort and cost.
• Collaborate with IT team to learn and support existing and new platforms.
• Produce and maintain documentation for IT Applications.
• Process and manage new requests for IT Applications.
• Liaise with suppliers and support partners.
• Maintain business relationships with users.
• Awareness of software license management.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Application Support Analyst at our Leeds Office to work within the Construction Group Applications team to provide support for our platforms across the Wates Group business, in particular our Construction and Engineering specific applications.

About The Role

We are looking for you to have solid system/ process experience, ideally with Autodesk, Asta PowerProject and Salesforce experience. You will be proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and have knowledge of ITIL and IT Best Practice.

To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator at all levels with the ability to develop excellent working relationships with the team, business users and suppliers. You will be process orientated with good attention to details and be able to produce clear and concise documentation.

What We're Looking For

Key Accountabilities of an Application Support Analyst include:

• Providing day to day support including Incident and Change Management for our IT Application Estate and to be the primary point of contact for administrative support to the business end users.
• Manage IT Application upgrade projects in conjunction with internal and external parties.
• Co-ordinate IT Application updates and maintain support records
• Supporting the analysis for business-driven change requests and establish business and application impact, effort involved and high-level cost.
• Work with the wider IT team in learning and providing support on existing and newly introduced business platforms.
• Provide and maintain documentation for the IT Applications
• Process and manage new requests for IT Applications
• Liaise with suppliers and support partners
• Business relationship with users
• Awareness and understanding of Software Licence management

We are looking for you to have solid system/ process experience, ideally with Autodesk, Asta PowerProject and Salesforce experience. You will be proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and have knowledge of ITIL and IT Best Practice, and have experience with Microsoft Power Automate for workflow and process automation.
